Message of the Chancellor of Muslim University

In today’s world, which has effectively become a global village and in which our country is also an integral part, there is a profound and urgent need for education, training, higher education, and specialized academic development. In this global village, life without technology is impossible; and access to technology itself is only achievable through knowledge.

For this reason, the leadership of Muslim University has exerted all possible efforts to establish and maintain an active official website, in order to share its achievements and research outputs with the public. Praise be to Allah, the issues related to the website have been resolved and it has once again been made fully operational. We also kindly request the Information Technology Department of the Ministry of Higher Education to exercise greater care and due diligence regarding the websites of academic institutions, so that all higher education institutions and universities are able to effectively share their information with the public without disruption.

The Government of Afghanistan should also, in accordance with its international and bilateral obligations, create conducive conditions for access to education, advanced sciences, and contemporary academic discourse for its people.

Accordingly, the law of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan stipulates that the state shall establish public and specialized universities for higher education, and this law also emphasizes the expansion and development of education.

In order to achieve these objectives, the Ministry of Higher Education is required to establish mechanisms that ensure quality improvement and balanced development of universities. Furthermore, the National Development Strategy of Afghanistan (ANDS) has emphasized the provision of high-quality higher education for the Afghan people.

The administration of Muslim University is also striving to ensure that this institution of higher education responds to all the needs that contribute to the development and progress of Afghanistan. These matters have been incorporated into the higher education policy and planning framework; accordingly, the strategic plan of Muslim University has been developed based on the same policy, aiming to promote public welfare, remain committed to national values, and achieve a respected position and credibility at the international level.

It is our duty and responsibility to provide educational and research opportunities to all those who meet the eligibility criteria for higher education, so that we may produce capable, professional, and experienced cadres for a brighter future of the country, ultimately contributing to a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan free from today’s challenges.

In the coming years, Muslim University will place greater emphasis on quality assurance, ensuring that our educational standards align with those of internationally recognized universities and are delivered to the younger generation. To achieve this goal, we call upon all citizens, national investors, and the government to support us in this endeavor so that we may produce globally competent and trustworthy professionals for the service of society.

We also request writers, university professors, and respected students to share their academic and scientific contributions with us, so that the university website may be further enriched and our institutions may continue to develop and progress.
