Information Technology Department

Providing facilities in the field of information technology at the university level and building the capacity of students, staff and teachers in the field of science and technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1- Monitor the university's computer systems, hardware and software installation, configuration and technical troubleshooting.

2- Providing a catalog of information technology services, service level agreements and initiatives according to the needs of the organization.

3 - Manage technology services that meet the operational needs of the University in its designated area.

4- Implementation of other duties by competent authorities in accordance with the laws, regulations and objectives of the relevant department.

5 - Provision of necessary software and hardware technical services.

6 - Internet bandwidth allocation and management.

7 - Organization and implementation of LAN and WAN networks in the related offices.

8- In case of any problem in the Internet service, contact the center of the Internet service provider and solve the problem.

9 - Provision and maintenance of backup copies of the operating system, servers and software packages

10 - Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware problems.

11 - Design of small networking networks and web sites (if needed and budget available)

12-Evaluation of necessary technical software systems and use of advanced software.

13-Teaching computer subject credits at the faculty.

14-Accepting, implementing the laws and regulations and maintaining the secrets of the office.

15 - Carrying out other related tasks given by the above agencies.

Goals

Design, control and supervision technical of hardware, software and network Routers, invention and provision of facilities and necessary information technology according to national and international standards at the level of Muslim Institute of Higher Education.
