This faculty was founded due to country and especially for the solution of lack of professional doctors in Ghazni province, and this faculty after six academic years presents physicians to different fields with MD level to the society. The academic system of this faculty is based on international standardized approved credit system, the medical students of this field besides theoretical education carry on practical education and learning in Ghazni and Kabul’s noble private and public hospitals.

Economic

A brief introduction of the Economics Faculty The curriculum of the economics faculty has been sorted out based on the accepted credit system by the ministry of higher education. All the duties and tasks are performed in accordance with the preset academic standards and laws. After completing the primary 4 semesters, the faculty is cut up into two distinctive departments such as Business Administration and Banking & Finance departments. In this way, the course of the faculty equals to 8 semesters or 4 years. The course is equivalent to 156 credit hours which has been categorized in the following manner: 1. Basic subjects cover 44 credits (28.2%) 2. Optional subjects equal to 23 credits (14.7%) 3. Specialized subjects cover 81 credits (51.9%) 4. 8 credits are covered by monograph and seminars (5.1%) Objectives of the faculty 1. Transferring knowledge and skills to the students which will empower them to effectively apply them to the economic aspects of practical and working life. 2. Providing academic services in the field of economics by which the needs and wants of the society will be perceived. After that, sensible steps could be taken nationally and globally to discover way better alternatives for the fulfillment of the requirements of the society. 3. To overcome the drawbacks of the world economic systems with the assistance of Islamic economic system. 4. Studies will be held in order to find the reasons behind the economic issues of the nation and seek better solutions for disposing of them. 5. In order to enrich the public projects, professionals lecturers and students should be actively involved in the process which will help the projects be designed and completed in accordance with a systematic plan.

DENTISTRY (Stomatology) The dental profession is the branch of health care devoted to maintaining the health of the teeth, gums and other tissues in and around the mouth. What is a Dentist? Evaluates the overall health of their patients while advising them about oral health and disease prevention. Periodontist – The Gum Specialist Of all dental specialties, periodontists are dentists specializing in the care and prevention of gum-related diseases and the treatment of oral inflammation. Periodontists often treat more problematic cases or severe gum disease with a wide range of treatment including scaling and root planing – which is commonly thought of as a “Deep Cleaning” and involves thoroughly scaling all plaque, toxins and tartar deposits and then smoothing all of the rough areas on the root surface. Another common treatment would be root surface debridement, where damaged gum tissue is removed. Periodontists are also specially trained in placement, maintenance and repair of dental implants. Prosthodontist – The Restoration Dentist A prosthodontist is certified in restoration and replacement of broken or missing teeth. Using crowns, bridges, or dentures, prosthodontists understand the dynamics of a smile and are trained to create replacements to address the oral function, comfort, appearance and oral health of patients with missing or deficient teeth. They also are one of the dental specialties that work in post oral cancer reconstruction, jaw joint problems, traumatic mouth injuries, and snoring and sleep disorders.

LAW & Political science

Historical Background of Law and Political Science Faculty in Afghanistan Law and Political Science Faculty was established by Ministry of Education within the Institute of Political Science and Law academy in 1938. In mentioned year in the month (April) of Law and Political Science faculty with 5 instructors and 25 students started activity at the Building of Habibia High School. In 1941 mentioned faculty was promoted to Law and Political Science Faculty by offer of Directorate of Academy and affirmation of prime minister office. At main time duration of study was changed from three years to four years. In addition, curriculum was approved and implemented by instructors in 1938. Mentioned curriculum was adapted during 1944 by which first 3 years of mentioned course was determined for general studies and final year for special studies. On the time, instructors were not assigned permanently, lectures were facilitated by temporary hired instructors. In 1945 for the first time, associate instructors’ recruitment process was started, finally in 1957 by the offer of faculty and approve of higher authorities, act of academic cadre recruitment was arranged. At the beginning students were recommended from governmental administrations; however, in 1941 graduated students of central high school were admitted to the faculty. According to adaptation of curriculum three (Administration and Law, Economic and Finance and Policy) departments were developed. In 1957 according to decision of authorities mentioned departments were adapted to Two (Administration and Diplomacy) departments. At the beginning, main objective of faculty was training of professional scholars. Later on, judiciary administration department was established. At the beginning Germans and Turkish Instructors were cooperating to mentioned faculty, in 1978 mentioned faculty got the academic fellowship of Sarban University of France and it continued until 1982. Introduction to Law and Political Science Faculty of Muslim University Law and political science faculty of Muslim university was established with attention to necessities of country and region in 2015, aimed to train young generation professionally to uniform juridical and judiciary sector, in order, to insure justice and strengthen domination of laws. Faculty continuously have strived to generate theoretical and practical learning motivations to strengthen country’s judicial system, set it in accordance to necessity of society and by domination of law guide the country to development and self-sufficiency. Historical Background of Faculty Law and political Science Faculty was established with attention to necessities of county and region within Muslim University in 2015. From that time till date, by passing different phases it has appeared as precedent and standard academic center in national and regional level. During such development, it has presented two batches of graduates to society for providing best service. Mentioned faculty has two (Administration & Diplomacy and Judgement & Prosecution) Departments. In both departments (male/female) students have been getting professional education. Till date, in two batches 327 professional and spiritually equipped students are presented to the society. Vision Law and political Science faculty’s main aim is to get academic credibility in national and regional levels. Mentioned faculty strives to manage its vision in both national and international levels with regard to recent development, positive changes and international norms in legal field. As well as, to promote and implement culture of research, innovation and compilation by using contemporary modern facilities and update teaching methods. In addition, to equip academic, juridical, judicial, political and diplomatic scholars without any discrimination (race, language, religion, gender, region) with spirit of unity, responsibility and respect to laws, in order, to present them for serving country and world.
